Empathy

I believe that everyone is on a journey, and where they’ve come from does not impact where they’re headed. I listen to your financial journey with empathy, and respect.

Fiduciary

The technical term up there means I’ll always have your best interest when providing any advice or recommendations.

I don’t sell any products or receive kickbacks for my recommendations. That removes the normal conflicts of interests that can be found with other Financial Advisors and allows me to serve you whole-heartedly.

Simplicity

“It’s almost like they made this stuff complicated on purpose!” That’s what I hear a lot. I’m committed to helping you translate the complexity of the financial services industry so that you can make the best decisions with confidence.

 My Commitment to Financial Health

Financial Health is having a balanced, comfortable relationship with money. Such a healthy relationship includes the following:

  • Living within one's means and maintaining a positive cash flow

  • Using money, not as an end in itself, but as a tool to help achieve what is most important in life.

  • Making financial choices and taking financial actions that are consistent with one's value and purpose.

  • Know enough about money mechanics to know what is involved in investing and managing their funds appropriately.

  • Have active savings and retirement plans.

  • Having appropriate insurance and asset-income protection in place.

  • Having a will and legacy plan in place.

  • Maintaining reasonable levels of debt.

  • Communicating openly and honestly about financial issues

  • Having clear financial goals and plans for meeting those goals.

  • Experiencing low levels of financial stress.

  • Experiencing high levels of financial satisfaction.

  • Understanding unconscious beliefs or "money scripts" one has learned about money and being able to change those that are harmful to one's financial health.

  • Understanding one's financial history and early experiences and how these have impacted the development of their money scripts and financial behaviors.

  • Periodically reevaluating the financial plan and adherence to the plan.
